DMY by DMY only works with production partners who operate responsibly as it pertains to the social and environmental aspects of its supply chain. The team is proactive at ensuring production sites are verified by world-leading inspection companies such as Intertek and SGS, which collect, validate and monitor all Tier 1 Supplier data on topics such as safety, quality and environmental responsibility. In addition, DMY BY DMY maintains a close working relationship with all of its suppliers to ensure they operate in alignment with the brand’s ethos.
DMY by DMY is committed to reducing its carbon footprint and is currently working on developing a deeper understanding of available opportunities to reduce the environmental impacts of its operations across sourcing and production. In the meantime, the brand uses entirely plastic-free packaging for all orders.

All of DMY BY DMY’s sunglasses are made from cellulose acetate, a material derived from wood and cotton fibers. Unlike most typical synthetic plastics, cellulose acetate breaks down after use into cellulose and acetic acid. In addition, acetate is produced in sheet form which is later hand-cut, thus avoiding emissions from machinery.
DMY by DMY is committed to making sure that workers in its supply chain are treated with dignity and respect, and that they are compensated fairly. To that end, the brand’s suppliers operate in compliance with International Labour Organisation (ILO) standards for health and safety - and demands that all of its production partners operate accordingly.
