Transparency
Cosmydor is open about every stage of its manufacturing process. Since all products are handmade, no petrochemicals are ever involved and the brand actively shares where its ingredients originate from and the extraction methods used.
Emissions
Cosmydor’s initiatives to minimise its carbon footprint are focused on driving environmental efficiencies in its manufacturing processes. The brand does not use plastic containers, opting for miron glass, opaline glass and aluminium alternatives. Cardboard packaging is also reduced to a strict minimum.
Water Management
The brand creates products with a high concentration of active ingredients, so water usage is kept to a minimum, with little-to-no waste in the manufacturing process.
Materials
All Cosmydor products are certified by the organic Nouvelle Cosmétique label, which sets high standards for organic ingredients in skincare.
Workers’ Rights
France-based Cosmydor follows EU regulations on workers rights and ensures that the rights of workers along the entire supply chain are being lawfully protected and embraced. Additionally, it has established policies to increase sourcing from factories that are unionized or are cooperatives.
Waste and Chemicals
Cosmydor does not use any hazardous chemicals.
Animal Welfare
The brand does not test on animals, in line with EU regulation, and does not use any animal-derived ingredients other than organic, responsibly sourced beeswax.

We are still exploring how we can work with Cosmydor to advance our shared goal of protecting endangered species and forests.

Symbols to spot
Cruelty Free
Neither the finished product nor its ingredients are tested on animals, and adhere to standards for basic animal welfare set by the World Society for the Protection of Animals (WSPA). All Toward Beauty products are cruelty free.
Low Waste
