Every 8 Faces product is traceable through each production stage, right the way back to raw materials, and all product and ingredient claims are backed with evidence from reliable sources. The company openly shares information about its sourcing and manufacturing practices.
Emissions
The brand’s initiatives to minimize its carbon footprint are focused on creating environmental efficiencies across sourcing and manufacturing processes and packaging materials, using packaging boxes made from post-consumer materials for example. The brand works in alignment with the goals of the Paris Agreement, bases its environmental sustainability priorities on assessment of the skincare industry’s most material impacts and is working on reducing carbon emissions from its operated facilities.
Water Management
8 Faces’ natural, organic formulas prevent pollution of waterways. Plus, the brand’s suppliers and production partners operate with respect for water sources and ecosystems in close proximity to their operations and beyond.
Materials
8 Faces uses ingredients that are cruelty-free, USDA-certified organic and produced by growers who adhere to the strict standards for this certification. No synthetic fertilizers or pesticides are ever used by the farmers that work with 8 Faces, which means the brand can make sure all ingredients are rich in vitamins, minerals and antioxidants. All 8 Faces products are non-toxic and never formulated with parabens, phthalates, synthetic fragrances, sulfates, glycols, talc, artificial dyes, PEGs, SLS, DEAs or GMOs.
Workers’ Rights
The company’s USDA-certified organic products are made in Canada, which ensures workers are protected by Canadian legislation. The brand also assesses its first-tier facilities (including factories and workshops) regularly.
Waste and Chemicals
All 8 Faces products are produced without the use of harmful ingredients and techniques in a facility that is proactively trying to reduce waste. Refuse from packaging is kept to a minimum, and the brand promotes a low-waste approach to skincare use through its multipurpose products.
Animal Welfare
8 Faces is as a vegan brand and does not test on animals.

Ethos
8 Faces promotes responsible consumption at multiple stages of the customer journey. Each product has 8 suggested uses, helping to limit overconsumption and all containers are designed for reuse or are biodegradable and compostable, complemented by regular advice on how to reuse or dispose of containers in a responsible manner.
